As the popularity of live sonar fishing continues to oscillate in the professional arena, anglers are still capitalizing on this new technology to put more fish in the boat. Daiwa's passion for such innovation is no different, and with new technology, anglers need the right tool to maximize its potential.
Introducing the first of its kind, the Power-Scope live sonar rod series. These sleek rods are the ultimate compliment to the techniques that live sonar fishing demands.
Starting with Daiwa's SVF Nanoplus graphite blank, a blank construction that evenly distributes resin binders within the high-density graphite strands for maximum weight reduction without sacrificing strength. Parabolic actions are implemented on these rods to help anglers keep fish pinned and provide forgiveness while using light lines.
Live sonar fishing also demands accurate casting to place those finesse lures in just the right spot, for that Daiwa has implemented X45 bias construction which perfectly spines the rod and prevents any twist of the rod for consistent casting as well as increased hook-setting power.
Supporting your ultra-thin braid or light fluorocarbon line is the smaller diameter Fuji guides with alconite rings which allow for smooth line transition even with braid-leader connections. Not only are they incredibly smooth but with that smaller diameter, more connection to the line increases sensitivity which is paramount while your eyes are focused on the screen.
With 2 bait cast and 5 spinning models, including 1 versatile spinning model and 6 technique specific models, the new Power-Scope rod series exemplifies Daiwa's commitment to innovation and the dedicated anglers employing this new technology.
