This Gen 1, 5Ah 40V MAX Lithium-ion battery is a powerhouse. It features an increase of over 60% in charge capacity from the original 3 Amp-hour ION® batteries, meaning extended high-performance from your ION® auger, with more holes from a single charge—up to 1600 inches of ice per charge with an 8" bit. Compatible with Gen 1 augers.

The powerful ION 4Ah Gen 2 battery offers single cell protection that integrates the latest battery technology, and maximizes it for cold weather application. This battery offers superior longevity, and the most consistent cold weather performance available. Compatible with Gen 2 augers.

This 40V MAX, 4 Amp-hour Gen 1 battery uses Lithium-ion technology to deliver high-performance. This ION® battery is powerful enough to drill through up to 1200 inches of ice on a single charge (with 8” bit), and is optimized to perform well in the cold winter conditions. Compatible with Gen 1 augers.

Duracork is an inorganic material that will not dry-rot or deteriorate. It is incredibly durable, and slightly lighter then regular cork. It has a rough texture, but smooths out after use.
